Advertiser Disclosure

DisputeMatchPro is free to use. To keep it free, we earn money from some of the companies that appear on our site. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires websites to tell you when they have a financial relationship with a company they mention. This page explains ours in plain language.

The short version

  • Some links on our site are affiliate or sponsored links. If you click one and sign up or buy, we may earn a commission. It does not cost you anything extra.
  • Some listings in our finders are sponsored, and the company paid or will pay us for that spot. Those listings are labeled.
  • Partners do not control our articles, our letter generator or our calculators.

Affiliate links and /go/ links

Many partner links on our site go through an address that starts with /go/, such as /go/credit-monitoring/. When you see a /go/ link, it means the link goes to a partner and we may be paid if you take an action, such as opening an account, buying a product or requesting a consultation. We label these links as partner or sponsored links near where they appear.

Partner companies may use cookies or similar tools to know that you came from our site. You can learn more in our Privacy Policy.

Sponsored finder slots

Some of our finders, such as the debt relief finder, credit builder finder and attorney finder, may include sponsored listings. A sponsored listing is a spot that a company paid for, or a spot where we earn money if you contact or sign up with that company.

  • Sponsored listings are marked with a “Sponsored” label.
  • Compensation may affect which companies appear in sponsored slots and the order they appear in.
  • Compensation does not affect non-sponsored results, our articles, our Collector Watchlist rankings, which are based on public CFPB complaint data, or the letters our generator creates.
  • Our finders do not list every company or every offer available. Being listed is not an endorsement or a guarantee.

Ads

Some pages may show ads served by advertising networks. We do not choose each ad, and an ad is not an endorsement by DisputeMatchPro. [CONFIRM: name of ad network(s), if any, before launch.]

What partners cannot do

  • Partners cannot write, edit or approve our articles.
  • Partners cannot pay to change our letter templates, calculator results or the facts we report about the law.
  • Partners cannot pay to be removed from the Collector Watchlist or to change their complaint data.
  • Paid content inside an article must carry a clear “Sponsored” label. See our Editorial Policy.

You always have a free option

Most of what paid companies offer, such as disputing errors on your credit report, you can do yourself for free. Our free letter generator is there for that. Before you pay any company, read the terms. Under federal law, credit repair companies cannot charge you before they finish the work they promised, and debt relief companies that sell by phone generally cannot charge fees before they settle or change at least one of your debts.
